Who’s actually sponsoring H-1B right now?

The September 2025 $100,000 fee proclamation tanked the broad sponsor pool. But it does NOT apply to transfers, extensions, or change-of-status for workers already in the US — and it does NOT apply at all to cap-exempt employers. This is the curated list of employers we’ve verified are still filing post-Sept 2025, weighted heavily toward cap-exempt (universities, NIH, teaching hospitals, nonprofit research orgs).

Why this list is shorter than what you’ll see elsewhere

MyVisaJobs and H1BGrader pull every employer that filed an LCA ever — including ones that have publicly walked back sponsorship. We exclude those. We also weight the list toward cap-exempt employers because that’s where laid-off H-1B workers can move FAST without lottery uncertainty.

The data pipeline (Phase 2 in progress)

Phase 1 (live) is hand-curated from public USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub patterns + observed LCA filings + careers-page activity. Phase 2 ingests USCIS Data Hub + DOL OFLC LCA disclosure quarterly to enrich + verify. Estimates pending full pipeline.
